Default Yoakum Builldogs (3-1) at Sinton Pirates (0-3)

This one look promising before the season, but the Pirates look like the way the Cowboys offense look like yesterday in Seattle. Bulldogs other than the setback to start the season have been playing well with some very good wins as they prep for their tough district slate.

Hoping for no injuries and both come out feeling they improved some. Sinton first home game this year so maybe they have some spark of life early and make it a game.

Yoakum got 2 Coaches that have been assistants at Sinton and they are reminding the players of the tradition and pride that Sinton always has had over many yrs. They have the Daws ready because you got to keep improving as a team or you go downhill. Our dist has a bye after the Sinton game so this last chance to improve.

Help coming next week Sinton in Bruni. Hang in there. Get's easier after Yoakum. I predict 5-5 season and another playoff for your Pirates.

Pirates well coached and good close battles usually between us. Great final tune-up. Open next week (much needed) before our brutal district games begin.

Yoakum is talented and has great speed at the skill positions. They are hitting on all cylinders offensively already......this season's team may be better overall than last year's with the Moore boys......just sayin'. The Bulldogs have great size on the lines too, and an athletic Qb to run the offense. They have played "up" against some very good competition in all of their games so far. I've just got to go with the Bulldogs in this one......they look very very polished to me.
Yesterdays are gone forever and tomorrows may never happen, but today you have the opportunity to make a difference.

3 teams Sinton has face 11-1 combine and all 3 averaging around 50 pts a game this season, now this Sinton young inexperience team faces maybe the toughest opponent this season. Another long night.

Yoakum's defense impressed me. They have amazing pursuit. If you get through the line, chances are those linebackers are going to get you before you get very far.

Went to this game and saw a good Yoakum team rack up plenty of points against Sinton in 1st half. Sinton had some good plays on offense but lacked continuity on both the running game or passing. Second half Yoakum started subbing lots of players on both offense and defense and they didn’t play as effective as the 1st half but continued to score points. Sinton is better than their past results have shown and they can still make the playoffs.

Some improvements offensively from previous games, help having their best lineman back since first half of the first game of the season. Sinton had 4 good drives all led to tds, two of them to start the 2nd half other than that nothing doing against Yoakum defense. Yoakum has some good backs. Good luck to Bulldogs hope to see y'all at Jerry's World on TV again.

Some highlights from game last night.
