    Default Army vs OU

For those that missed it, willingly or not (it was only on PPV while others likely thought it would be a blow out), what a game! OU as expected scored easily on most possessions taking just a few minutes to do so. ARMy secondary really had no answer for the OU receivers. And Kyler Murray, when nothing was available, took off and ran the ball very well. On the other hand, Army possessed the ball for most the game, with long methodical drives resulting in a score on most possessions. Late in the third Q, ARMY stopped OU on the 1 yard line preventing the score that would have put the game out of reach. Army drove down in the 4th Q and tied it up. The game should have ended with an OU field goal from about 30 yards out with virtually no time left on the clock. HE Missed! OT ! OU scored first, and then it was ARMY's turn, but they were stopped after a few drives and the final score was 28 - 21. OU run game defense was OK but not enough, except in the end. Anyway, for the 31 point underdog to play the #5 team to OT 21-21 was unexpected to say the least. OU fans gave Army players a standing ovation as they existed the stadium knowing they escaped a close one. GREAT GAME.

I was just reading several write ups about this game, all positive from both sides. Gotta love it!
