Melissa scores on a 43 yd post pass. It's quite evident Trinity does not have a reliable kicker or punter.

Trinity scores after a 92 yd pass and catch to the one yard line with 31 secs. left. It was only 50 secs. left on the clock when Trinity made the long pass on first down after a deep punt and penalty for blocking in the back from the Melissa punt.

CHTC went 12-1 last season and won the TAPPS Div. II State Championship......just to let everybody know. Deion Sanders has 2 sons on the team as starters. Shilo(6-1, 185) is the senior corner on defense and his younger brother Shedeur(6-1, 180) is the soph. QB for the team. Deion is the OC for the Tigers.

Hard fought game. Melissa came up short tonight, they opportunities, but three fumbles cost them. Melissa got better tonight for sure because TC will by far be one of the biggest teams Melissa will play and without a doubt be the fastest.

By the way maxpreps has Trinity Christian Cedar Hill ranked #6 in the state for all classifications.

Billies are a good team and the Texans are making progress.
IMO the Billies are a fair team at best and the Texan offense and special teams have made some progress.

Still lots of time for improvement for every team as we proceed into Week 5.......that's 6 more weeks until the final game of district play. Alot can happen in that time.

    Benbrook Bobcats 21

    Final

Both teams are now (3-1) for the season. Benbrook was averaging over 45 pts/game some D-2 teams on their schedule, but they are in Kennedale's district. They should still make the playoffs in that district. Anna is in the same district with Argyle, Melissa, Celina, Paris, and Paris North Lamar. This district is gonna be a war each week.

They have some athletes on that team.....including a 2020 composite 5 star.

The last score I received on the Celina vs Fort Worth Dunbar was 42-27 not sure if that score changed or not as there was still several minutes left in the game .

They are loaded with Dl kids. There oline and dline were huge with the oline averaging 290lbs. The running back was listed at 6'0 219 and the other kid that ran the ball who is the middle linebacker is listed at 6'2 230. They looked like a 6a team with 38 palyers.
