    The Gobblers are struggling to put together a game free of unforced errors. They will get it together the question is will it be this Friday? I jike the Ricebirds in this battle of the birds in a close one.

    I am hearing that the Gobblers have a couple of studs they are holding out til district.

    Wow, I didn't realize it was that serious. Still there may be enough left to make plenty noise in the post season if the attitude is right. Yoakum may have been just what they needed. That might make ECs job a lot tougher.

    Cuero will be okay, we have quit a few injuries right now. But it’s football, you play the cards your dealt. Last week was like a perfect storm, 7 turnovers (5 in the first half), heck Alabama would have a hard time winning with that many giveaways. Credit to Yoakum though, they won fair and square. 2015 we were banged up just like this and had 6/7 key players out. We went 5-5, but once we got it going and got healthy we were able to make to the semis. Lots of football to be played still, why bring these guys back for meaningless games.
