One thing that irritates me is the Austin American Statesman wants to include Wimberley in the area rankings but rarely cover a game or even post stats. Nothing on the Burnet game and then the San Marcos Daily Record covered Dripping Springs vs Tivy but no Wimberley. Okay, I'm finished.

Statesman like most newspapers are limited on staff (2 full time HS guys?) and the stringer budget probably isn't real big either....and what stringers they do have are probably going to stay in the immediate area most of the time Originally Posted by Tejastrue

Yeah, I know, unless it's a season similar to last year. The local paper for the most part sucks when covering Wimberley sports. New Braunfels paper trumps the area with their local sports coverage.

Marble Falls newspaper - The Daily Trib - covers Marble Falls, Burnet, and Llano. Good write ups. Usually on line Saturday. The Burnet paper covers Bulldogs very good. Wayne Craig photagrapher writes all Bulldog sports coverage for paper.
