    Rest in Peace, Augie Gurrido. One of the few D1 coaches who took athletes from the Rio Grande Valley seriously. For that, he will always and forever have my respect.

    He did some great things for UT baseball. I have been told (by a former pitcher's family) he used to over pitch some pitchers, but that is all water under the bridge now.

    RIP.
