Aren't what the UIL has for basketball alignments the same alignments for baseball/softball?
If so, wow for Salado..........in Central Texas for football and then off to the Hill Country in Region IV for basketball/baseball/softball.............
EDIT: Nevermind, I went back and compared Baseball & Basketball for the 2016 - 2018 alignment......there are differences, so carry on with your regularly scheduled thread reading

If you are only looking at a map then its fine! Numbers, the numbers don't make sense. Look at the proportions of schools in each class. 4A has the lowest number of schools spread across two divisions. 5A D2 has districts with 8 and 9 teams per district, which suggests to me, that the cutoff number for 4A should have been higher. Just my opinion.
