I wasn't expecting Maddieville to come aboard or that we'd move Regions, a seven team district will be different.............

Aren't what the UIL has for basketball alignments the same alignments for baseball/softball?

If so, wow for Salado..........in Central Texas for football and then off to the Hill Country in Region IV for basketball/baseball/softball.............

EDIT: Nevermind, I went back and compared Baseball & Basketball for the 2016 - 2018 alignment......there are differences, so carry on with your regularly scheduled thread reading

IMO, the UIL should have placed Robstown in D16 to make it 5. But they’re relying on a computer now....

Sorry but the UIL screwed up big time on this one.

What week do Columbia and Sweeny play?

Last year's Battle of the Bernard was wiped out by Harvey. We can't go two years without playing.

If you are only looking at a map then its fine! Numbers, the numbers don't make sense. Look at the proportions of schools in each class. 4A has the lowest number of schools spread across two divisions. 5A D2 has districts with 8 and 9 teams per district, which suggests to me, that the cutoff number for 4A should have been higher. Just my opinion.
