Congrats to Rockdale! Watched their game last week vs Teague.

Congrats to the Tigers and Offensive Coordinator Brandon Houston! Coach Huey was my son's quarterback coach at Lorena. I give him a lot of credit for being a part of Lorena's turnaround. Will be at Jerry's world to watch the big game!

Looks like Yoakum had no answer for one player mainly.....Locklin. Stop him and you change the whole way this game played out. But you didn't stop him enough and the game got away from you. Good season Yoakum......sorry to see you staying home.
Yesterdays are gone forever and tomorrows may never happen, but today you have the opportunity to make a difference.

Best team won tonight. Congrats RD. Yes, Locklin is amazing, and as I pointed out---had to be controlled, and wasn't. They used the Mineola game plan on us, and once again, we couldn't stop it, till it was too late. Play 1st half, like second---maybe we have a chance? Hat's off to RD, they earned this and I wish them well, as they try for their first championship at Jerry's World next Thursday.

Thanks Dogs for a great ride again. And should Bo move on, thank you for amazing 3 years.

It would be our second state title....1976 was the last time Rockdale won a title

Rockdale's defense is a fun defense to watch....for sure...

It was cool to see Crawford and Josh Moore going up against each other all game...

Sure hope Locklin is going someplace, if Crawford is going to Oklahoma? Locklin by far the motor that makes that team run. Best team will be Brock, but---like Gilmer did in 2009 vs. Cuero in semi's in Huntsville, they had the best player in Stump, and pulled out the win. I see this happening next Thursday.

I could see Locklin going to an FCS school....

Also an interesting point is Locklin's dad was the QB of the 1976 state title team and his grandpa was the QB of the Aycock Tigers(Rockdale's all black school back then) state championship team in 1955.
