Go Texans! I have not kept up with our Texans this year, or last year either, sad to say...but I did watch the game last night live streaming. It was a great game, but I saw areas that looked worrisome, comparing to the two other state championship runs. BUT...that's only one game...so I cannot draw any conclusions from it with confidence. I have a relative on the coaching staff, so I get his input as well. But can someone else tell me what they saw last night as it compares to the rest of the season, especially on D?

He have games where we tackle really poorly (Navarro) and games where we tackle pretty well (Sweeny). We didn't tackle very well last night, though #24 did have a lot to do with it.

Minus the losses to us Kennedale is 13-0, Salado 12-1, Madisonville 11-1. Those are higher quality wins than anyone Wimbo has played other than Cuero.
Salado and Navarro are basically the same team.

Madisonville vs Sweeny? We had the Cuero people telling us for weeks that Sweeny was the 2nd-best team in the state. (They weren't.)

Great venue. We played there last Saturday. Amazing what 70M can build ya. This game will be close, but---I think WOS reign finally comes to an end. Nice run.

You know WOS is the two time defending State Champ and they play solid defense and I think they are pretty healthy as a team with no injuries that I have heard. The Texans are a great team, but I have to say WOS makes it to the Finals and plays Pleasant Groves.

WOO! Gonna be a great game. I can't wait to see if Wimberley's passing game can crack that staunch WOS D!

Wimberley gonna have to tighten up their D!

Should be fun! Early weather forecasts look good too!
