Congrats to the Wimberley Texans on a great great win. Cuero obviously ran into some injuries to key players.....but had a wonderful season. Nothing to hang your heads about.....that's just the way it goes in football at this level. Gotta give both teams high marks for great play tonite.

I think Cuero ran out of gas, because they melted like the snow in the 4th, particularly their lines.
Huge respect for the little QB and the backup running back. #24 was the fastest guy on the field, and ran hard through tackles. I think Cuero was starting the wrong RB all season. The QB... well, literally right before he threw the pick 6, I told my wife "He just hasn't made a bad play all night. When things have gone wrong, he has avoided bad plays." He was killing us until then. And then our rush started to get to him. But what an amazing performance from the kid.
I'll let someone from Cuero discuss #2.
For us... The funnest games ever are the ones where you say "We HAVE TO score here." And you score. And then you say, "We HAVE TO get a stop here." And you get a stop. And then you say, "We HAVE TO score again here." And you score. And then you say, "We HAVE TO get a stop here." And you get a stop. I can't imagine how much that hurt to see from the other side of the field.
Two trips to that stadium and two of my favorite games ever.
Soooooo excited to play WOS again.
