After seeing the two play I’ll have to go with Wimbo, unless Cuero can get some great pressure on Weeks. Should be a shoot out regardless. Give me Wimbo- 49, Cuero- 35

I hadn't heard that but it makes sense. Promises to be a good game.

Isn't it strange that after a bombing everyone blames the Crazy Azz bomber(s), but after a shooting the problem is the gun?

Wimberley good... 44 runs extremely hard, the qb is a hoss, and #8... wow

    Much better analysis!

I loooooooooooooove playing Cuero. They are the absolute gold standard in football in the bottom half of the state, so beating them means so much. I'm still convinced that we didn't win state again in 2006 simply because beating them in round 3 for the first time was our Super Bowl.

Also, great community -- When our coaches organized the athletics day flood cleanup in 2015, there were more kids from Cuero than any other school.

BTW, I still haven't heard any confirmation on the stadium. Was told Alamo Stadium by a player's mom last night.

I personally would love to play in Seguin, line the field with fog machines, and crank them up full blast.

It's always a good idea to give the nod to a team that has an outstanding qb at the helm in big games. Sounds like Weeks has built that pedigree this season, and given the Texans more room to be more effective in other areas of their offensive scheme. I guess their defense is pretty good too, Huh? I'm sticking with Wimberley like I have all season long.
Yesterdays are gone forever and tomorrows may never happen, but today you have the opportunity to make a difference.

Wonder why? That's quite a drive for Cuero.

Point differential between common opponents? lol I like the stadium. Benches have more space between them. The people who host it are awesome, not to mention it brings back fond memories.

I like that stadium a lot too. Saw my favorite HS game ever there. Pretty sure you know which one I'm talking about.

Cuero is the visiting team. Guess Wimberley won the coin toss.

Really not that far if you go Hwy 304 from Gonzales (83 miles). About like going to San Antonio.
