    Default Week 8 D15 D2 Wharton (1-3,1-0) at Sinton (5-0,1-0)

    Wharton had scored 7 points in each of their games til this past game scoring 37 to win in last seconds of the game against Ingleside in the district opener.

    Sinton comiing off a win against Aransas Pass, rb Tristan Canales only played in the first part of the first quarter not sure if a injury or reason he didn't play the rest of the game.

    I was lol at AP #4, he goes low at Daryl and doesn't fare well gets up and here comes Daryl again and #4 goes high on tackling with same result.

    What happen to the sign "The Sinton Way" that was on the softball field stands, did the hurricane get it?

    Yep, they forgot to take it down

    We'll be replacing a bunch of signs next spring.

    Sinton's Tristan Canales rushed for 279 yards on 21 carries with 2 tds and 72 yards receiving on 4 receptions with 2 tds.

    Canales only played the first series against Aransas Pass only had 4 carries for 38 yards in that game, the other 5 games he has rush for a total of 1098 yards on 86 carries for avg of 12.8 yard per carry and average of 219.6 yards per game. Canales has 215 yards receiving on 11 receptions with 5 tds on the season. Has 16 rushing tds and 5 receving for total of 21 tds.

    Colt Gorman passed for 203 yards and 5 tds.

    Gorman for season has pass for 1138 yards with 14 tds and 1 interception.

    Yea got real close in 3rd qtr, Sinton scored twice both called back and Sinton didnt score on those drives could of been 49-12 in 3rd qtr instead remain 35-12 and Wharton came back with some quick scores to get to within 35-26 in 3rd qtr.
