Great game by Wylie's Conner Carlton today... gave up one run on 2 hits in a complete game performance against a very good Pleasant Grove squad. Now move on to face a loaded Robinson team for the championship tomorrow... Go Bulldogs!

Not to be out done, Congratulations to Robinson't Sr. Dru Dziedzic for a 2 hit shut out of Sinton.
Which will it be tomorrow? A&M commit Mason Cooper or Junior Baylor commit Braxton Ashcraft.
Game day!
Pfft. Supposedly the two best pitchers in the state were eliminated yesterday
You can read the transcript but the video puts it in better perspective.

Scared? LOL...
4 htter and defense preserved the shut out couple of times and Robinson made some very nice plays to take couple of hits away.
Wylie going after the back to back feet and i believe i mention start of the season that was a hard thing to do and they're one win away from accomplishing it. Good luck to both.
Rocket Man & Crew are in the house!!
About 20 mins til game time!!
Rockets Never Quit!
Congrats to AW: winner 6-5.
Proud of Rockets!!
Rockets Never Quit!
Back-to-back! Great season Bulldogs! Great team effort from everyone on the team!
Nice season Rockets.
Abilene Wylie becomes only the second team in Class 4A history (the old 3A) to repeat as champs. The other: SintonPirates ('88, '89)
Sinton came close in 2003, won it in 2002 but 2003 lost to unbeaten Lorena team in extra innings in championship game.
Congrats Wylie well deserved only 1 loss all year!
Congrats Robinson, Rockets seem to be loaded each year so most likely another run at it next season.
What a game! Two great teams, two undefeated pitchers, two loud and proud fan sections... playing for the State Championship. Perfect weather. Ended up being the best game I've been to in a long time. Congrats to Wylie's Zach Smith--this young man was the starting shortstop, came in as the relief pitcher to finish the game, hit the game winning home run and was voted State Championship MVP.
BTW, he was the starting QB on our State Championship runner up football team and ran anchor leg on our State Meet qualifying sprint relay team...
Congrats to the Wylie Bulldogs on going back to back. Another very impressive athletic year from possibly the top athletic program in the state in 4a.
