Whatever improvements were made offensively for this years team......the defense negates.

Defense was pretty sad with no answers in the passing game, I think most fans thought Texas would be 2-1 after three game but not beating ND and losing to Cal. Next two games are huge for Strong's future, he might want to have a little more hands on coaching with the defense because Bedford not getting it done. Hookem and saggy you still suck like OU. Lol

Well, crazy things can happen with those late west coach games.
Couple of things.
Looks like UT is still going to have some defensive issues in the Big 12. There are several teams that are as good or better than Cal offensively.
W Beuchele, these defensive coaches are pretty good when they get a little tape and see guys tendencies. One thing that concerned me about him was his size. He is going to get hit quite a bit because the pass blocking is not very good. Can his body hold up?
I still think UT is better and, right now, they are looking like 7-8 wins, but I do think the hype got too high too quickly. ND is not anywhere close to a top 10 team and UTEP is really really bad.Judge a man by his questions rather than by his answers.

Horns need to run the ball more and use D'Onta Foreman. He's a hoss. Horns also need a field goal kicker who missed two field goals not that would have made a difference
Watched Charlie Strong press conference this morning and kept repeating a lot of evaluating needs to be done
