I think the pundits jumped the gun putting Texas at 11th last week from being unranked. They are all sooooo wanting UT to be great again. Especially those who have to pay for LHN.

There will be flashes of greatness, but until the D can stop the other team, the W's won't be automatic.

No doubt that jump was crazy, Texas has not proved anything yet and Cal proved that. Next two games are huge for Strong's future, on the bright side with atm winning Sumlin should be safe so Herman will be available if LSU does not beat us to the draw. I only say this if Strong stubbles again this year, 8 wins and Strong is safe.

Big 12 looks down this year compared to last couple years. Longhorns look as good as anyone in the conference besides maybe Baylor but every game looks winnable to me
