Uhhhh...you want to take another look? It saved us down the stretch as Swoopes went off! Let me remind that you & Macarthur picked ND & he said it would not be close. Eat your crow little ags, & don't underestimate the heart that is within this football program. We had tons of stud recruits visiting tonight & things will only get better. This program was the last to bring the state of Texas a national title in football, & will probably be the next. It's not THE FLAGSHIP University in Texas for nothing. HOOK'EM Dang Horns!!

What's wrong with that? It's a bunch of young men that is proud of their coach for being them back from the dead. They just beat a team that they haven't had much luck with the last few years. I would like to see them do that after every win. They are just showing respect where respect is due. HOOK EM

Texas has been there before, Charlie hasn't. So, they carried him off. Loved it. Big win at this point of Charlie's Longhorn career IMO. Give credit, where credit it due---thanks Art Briles for that offense scheme and Coach Gilbert.

What I saw was a bunch of young men that sold out to this coach and love playing for him. I watched every minute of the game. What a game! I did come away knowing one thing, Texas Defense has some young men on that team that will flat out strike you. Love it! I'm so happy whiny is gone from the sidelines. I wish I didn't have to hear his voice when Texas plays. This true Freshman QB could really be special and those backs are awesome. Really glad all the Prima donnas are gone. Coach Strong has it turning the right direction now.

Let me ask the UT faithful this. If the officials call the clearly obvious targeting on the TD pass, ND has first and goal at the two and they will most likely go up by 2 TDs. That would be the first time UT EVER lost w a 17+ point lead. How is the conversation different today?

Let me add this, too. Didn't ND have like 5 kids suspended for this game?

Look, you guys should feel good about a hard-fought win. I just think everyone needs to tap the brakes on UT being back. That game could've very easily gone against UT.

Give me a break..."If if's and buts were candy and nuts we all would have a Merry Christmas"! Go look at the stats....go see the yards we put on them...50 points & 517 yards on offense to start! Geez, of those 5, only 1 was a starter. You want to speak "ifs", "If" we don't have the extra point blocked or the blocking below the waist penalty, we never go to overtime. Notre Dame has a damn good line on both sides of the ball. Beasts. They were a top 10 team for a reason, so don't waste your time trying to lessen the win for Texas. All envy. Just watch ND for the next several weeks, they will kick some teams, and it will make the UT win look all the better. Do we have challenges and plenty to work on?....yes. I have concerns still about our defense. We stay way too long in the vanilla package on defense, and seem to be a lot better at making plays when we get aggressive, mix it up with blitzes. The corner blitz worked for us almost every time we did it last night. Long season, and plenty of challenges for this team. But, I do know we are only going to get better. Just wait to we get the young freshmen wide receivers Duvernay & Johnson on the field with this Sterlin Gilbert offense....two studs. Buechele will only grow to be better. Bright future. And you referenced "act like you have been there before." We've been there before (last national title the state of Texas has had in football), and have earned it to do whatever we damn well want to do... and if a fired up bunch of kids want to heist Charlie on their shoulders, so be it! I like the energy myself. Huge stage last night, huge win....a big time recruiting boost. No other way to look at it!
