    Default 2 New Baseball Rules

Talked to this long time baseball umpire from Wharton who is also a DJ as a hobby at Reyna's Restaurant in Hungerford tonight where we live.

He said that there are two rule changes
First is that catchers heard gear must cover their ears this season
Second he said that umpires must give coaches a warning when they argue a call. And the Umpire must write it down on the back of the score card-He mentioned that another warning will result in an ejection.

No.1. Yes They have to wear the Bucket (Hockey style catchers mask)

No.2. It is no different than in the past. You gave warnings in the past. You just have to write them down now. You can still toss them without warnings depending on the situation. It is in response to baseball coaches saying they dont get "chances" like other sports ( two "unsportsman like" for football and two "technicals" for basketball).
