    It pretty much already is a bye. Sorry Scarborough but the truth hurts sometimes.

    Yep..., case in point. It's nothing more than a participation trophy getting an automatic berth. It leaves no incentive to actually try and get better. Are they good at soccer?

    Oh hell no. Hated doing that when I ran the local youth sports orginization. EVERYONE gets a medal/trophy. Gobs of money wasted.

    Spoken like a guy who has been coaching sub varsity games for 6 years. I love my job and love the kids, but after 10 weeks of sub varsity games you are spent and ready to move on to the next sport or just enjoy coaching the varsity kids.

    my sons get to school at 630 and get home around 730 on non game nights..tack an hour on the front end, and another 3+ on the back end on the coaches..not to mention gamenights and weekends..i have nothing but respect for the coaches!!
