    Default Fishing Thread

OK so this is how I roll. Hunting from November to January as long as football permits. Fishing the rest of the time. So here is the TX Downlow fishing thread. So posts pics of fish, fishing, your boat, your kids jeking brim or anything to do with fishing. I know we have lots of fishermen and fisherwomen on the board.

I'm 6'0" tall and weigh in t 335lbs to give you a reference. We like to catch big crappie, not little bitty ones!

There are 57 in the sinks and on the 2x10. They filled up 2 1/2 5 gallon buckets. None under 12" were taken home that day.

Although I crappie fish A LOT.....there is nothing more fun or exciting than picking up a trotline and the trotline pulling back. Caught these two on side by side hooks. These are some Sandlin show dogs!!

I like this thread! But it needs a bit more Saltwater representation.

Here's my contribution! I landed this 39.5 inch black drum in Freeport. Literally across the Brazos River from Exporter Statium. dead shrimp on 10 lb. braided line. This thing went on one hell of a run too. Took about 10 minutes to finally get it in.
