    Default South Carolina at A&M

Hopefully the storms will be gone by gametime. They will probably put a damper on tailgating, so the crowd will be sober quiet. LOL.

Heard that Sumlin will give Kyler Murray his chance to start. Heard that "he had the best week of practice" after the job was opened up to all 3 candidates.

I dont expect Kyler to be our savior, but hopefully hes good enough today to beat a crappy SC team....

Well, Kyler looked really good. Keeping the plays simple. Our O-line played much better with a simple game plan. Murray's running ability had something to do with that. Defense gave up too many huge plays. SC has a good play caller on offense.

The pick 6 was the difference. SC's defense getting some stops late in the game was frustrating, but no turnovers from A&M was a big thing too.

South Carolina sucks. That's why our offensive line did better.

Murray had a good game but I don't think I saw a completed pass over 10 yards....

This game was not pretty, but a win is a win and I'll take it.

Yah, it's a W, but the kind you don't walk away with a good feeling. The big plays SC's Offense got were too frequent. Watching no containment on the sweeps, and seeing our 300lb D linemen chasing haplessly a running back who already had a few steps on them....and the LB's or safety having to come from clear across the field to try and push them out of bounds just before the goal line....

While being interviewed, Sumlin said something like "yeah, they had the week prior off and came at us with some trick plays". Well, an overly aggressive defense that doesn't have some players stay in position to keep these big plays from happening will get brutalized.

Daylon Mack is a beast. I was worried for him when he was hurt laying face down. Glad to see him get up and play later. I look forward to seeing him grow and develop.

Spavital's play calling was so-so, but only because SC's defense was so-so. I was really mad early in the game when they had 2nd and 6, and they went long twice in a row instead of getting the first down. I wonder if that was Kyler's read, or if it was the play? For most of the game, probably because of the O-line, Kyler wasn't able to get many 2nd looks at the other receivers. Forget about 3rd looks.

I feel we should have won by at least 20 points. SMH.
