    Great game for the Horns because now they know they have a good qb that can run and throw. May have lost the battle, but found out much about their team. Gotta feel bad for the Texas kicker, though. How many extra points do you think this guy has ever missed?

    Heard is clearly better than swoopes, but keep in mind, cal's defense was historically bad last year. Cal gave up 800 yards in a game last year and over 600 in another. They are probably better this year only because they can't be worse than they were last year. Heard will face much bigger defensive challenges soon.

    And defense is supposed to be Charlie's calling card. They are still getting lit up.

    I think heard's two or three great runs may cloud the reality that the issues are still there on offense, not to mention they haven't stopped anyone defensively.
