    Default Alvarado @ Gainsville

I pick Alvarado. I think we got back on the right track with the victory against Decatur. I hope we can keep it going.

the Indians are moving in the right direction for sure..i think the young WRs break out in this one..they get some confidence..they will be a dangerous group!
the 2 main RBs each had around 200 yds rushing last week..QB playing poised with confidence..Defense is aggressive and hard hitting..will be a good game to iron out some more kinks and continue improving!

I know that La Vega is really good, but what happened in that opening game? Did Alvarado have turnovers? Play terrible, or what?

I was honestly surprised when I saw how well Alvarado did against Decatur. Is Decatur down some, or did Alvarado wake up in week 2 after sleeping in week 1?

I was shocked to see such a big loss followed by a good win.

Poor tackling, lost count on dropped passes(receivers were open) LV played well..overall we didn't...with LV, things can snowball pretty quickly if things go wrong.

I don't think Decatur is down or lost many. Suppose to be fairly solid. Alvarado may just be coming alive.

I know they beat Springtown by 11 or 12. It just didn't seem to add up to me what happened to Alvarado in their two games. What someone else said... if things go bad against La Vega things can snowball quickly. I can see that happening.

I think the Indians are waking up and showing their potential. LV is loaded with talent, they could make some noise come playoff time.

La Vega had 4 of 5 scores with relatively short passes to a very athletic WR. We simply could not tackle him. La Vega line was big and they ran all over us. Score could have been a little more respectable but La Vega appears to be a legit Tier 1 team. Against Decatur, we had a good pass rush and appeared to make some improvements in pass coverage and tackling. I expected coach Dixon to get this straightened out. We still have to see how we react to teams with good speed in the skill positions.
