I have been told Ingleside will have a fairly good team this year. How do you Sinton folks see this district ending up?

Just wondering. Ingleside's pre-district opponents didn't seem that impressive. I wish they would play tougher opponents like Sinton and Robstown do. Well they at least have 1 district win. I guess I'll will know how good the Mustangs are when they play Sinton and Robstown. Thanks for the info.

SFIA, what's the story on RF? Did they play a tough pre district schedule? I mean going from 5-6 to 10-6 overall in this district is pretty impressive. But they just as easily could lose the rest of their games, it is unlikely.

They were up 6-0 on Hidalgo in Calallen tourney before their pitcher tired in the 6th and got some runs on him then the rest on the reliever to lose that game 7-6 in bot of 7th. Think they're coached pretty well not as many mistakes like past seasons and have two good starting pitchers. IMO if you can get to their relievers would be a good way of beating them could be reason for some losses in tourney games. Yea right now pretty hard to judge how this is going to turn out.

It will be an interesting match-up this week. If Robstown continues to follow the rotation JR Garcia should be on the mound. With him on the mound, Robstown has a good shot at pulling the victory.

Don't know if it will be Noles turn on the mound for RF. I remember seeing him last night and thinking that he had a very good strong arm.

Smithwick from OG, while having a strong arm was not very effective. Robstown was able to make him waste pitches and got key base hits when they mattered most.
