Just saw this on the internet and posted a similar one on the High School Forum since he was a high school coach and there are just more viewers there. I have a lot of respect for Chad Morris, and I think it will take some time for him to get SMU turned in the right direction. I really think he will need 5 to 6 years before you see any true progress as SMU is just that bad right now. I know they required a lot more of their recruits from an academic side after the death penalty not sure if that is still in place but some of the prior Coaches complained that created and extra burden and was a road block for SMU being successful. I am sure Chad would want those restrictions to be removed if he was to accept the job. This is probably not the only job offer he has to be a head coach.
