Baylor did not convert on that 4th down on the previous series as Briles went for it on 4th instead of kicking the field goal. W. Va. is now knocking on the door inside the Baylor 15. Timeout Mountaineers early in the 2nd.

Baylor will need to keep their emotions in check to win in Morgantown against this very capable W. Va. team. They appear to be playing tough defensively.

Petty is being pressured today and is not sharp with his throws. Maybe he will settle down as the game progresses. Another flag now against W. Va. unsportsmanlike. 15 yds.

Baylor not able to run it as the Mountaineer D is all over the runs. Now Petty lofts one on 3rd and long as the the Baylor receiver runs under it and takes it for a TD. Bullsheet call on a good block by Baylor's #1 into the defensive player for a valid block and is thrown out of the game. It was a perfect technique block by Baylor's wide receiver. Now they say the block is good and the TD stands. These refs need to back off their flaghappiness in this game. That was a TERRIBLE call that could have affected the game if not for instant replay and the new rules to overturn the miscall by the refs.
