    That's funny todd.. Prior to 1942 Graham school colors were purple and gold.They changed it to red white and blue to honor the troops during World War II. So you got something there..

    I asked a member of the coaching staff about the field design several weeks ago. Apparently it will have a design but at that time not sure what... then two weeks ago I was talking to a member of the crew putting the turf down.. I think if it is not the old style longhorn.. it will be the Big Red G with the horns in front.. like is going on the elevator tower....but that's just from a brief conversation...so I went online and looked at other fields that company had done.. and they have several example of 50 yard line emblems even with the center soccer circle around them..BUT..Then again?????

    Here is something cool.. I was told this a month or so ago but today I have reconfirmed it.. Remember week two last year when most of the game vs. Brownwood was played with one three light standards up and running.. Even when all four are up it is still a tad dim.. Well apparently the light are being replaced with led lights that are coming from the Texas Rangers ballpark.. Not sure when they will be swapped but I look forward to a brighter game...lol

    So saw something interesting today, was watching My All American about Freddie Steinmark and saw a familiar face playing Arkansas' QB, Case McCoy!

    Jordan Shipley also plays in it as well, you can see him in the Arkansas game as well at half time in the locker room.
