TexAs defense is really good, but damn OU s offense looks brutal. Knight is not very good.

Offensive coaches for Texas are out to lunch on the plays getting in. They have shown a propensity for not being organized during the game. That's causing confusion, unnecessary timouts, and takes away from the effectivieness of the players on the field.
Yesterdays are gone forever and tomorrows may never happen, but today you have the opportunity to make a difference.

No timeouts and a min left.......call a double pass. Have Swoopes roll out and throw back. That's all you got.

Not very impressed with OU so far this season....overrated imo. Typical hype for last game played last year. Texas does have a good D, but OU offense not that good.

At least the horns kept it close enough so that their fans did not leave in mass exodus. How many games has it been since horn fans got to stay until the 4th quarter?

I know for last week's game, they had mostly all left early.

Texas getting better, still making too many mistakes. As Regal said coaches have to do a better job of getting plays in, and special teams hurting, but overall Texas still improving.

You can knock Texas all you want, making progress with Mack's leftovers. Coach Strong will right the ship, championships are won with defense. What a great experience today, Hookem

Here's strongs issue now. He's got quite a few upperclassmen on that defense. Macs recruiting had fallen off the last year or two. He's got his hands full, IMO, with the talent on the roster once guys like malcom brown diggs graduate.

recruiting fell some..but it is not like they went from top 10 to 75th. They still have got young talent..and after watching the D staff and how they developed players like Edmonds, I trust them with the 25th class over Brown and his staff with the #5 class all day every day...plus 2013 and 2014 classes got some possible studs on the D side

You to negative all the time, good coaching will overcome lack of talent at the college level. Hide and watch.

Hook congrats on what on your first OU and Texas matchup as a parent. I think Strong will right the ship, if they give him the opportunity to.

im not saying coaching isn't important but you can not look at strongs class right now and be excited. Also macs last class or two were very mediocre. There is a noticeable diff in the talent level in that program over last couple of classes.

As the great Barry Switzerland once said " it's about jimmys and joes, not X's and O's"

I had a OU fan park next to me at the RV park, he said there was an article in the OU paper about the Texas players on the OU roster. Out of the 24 Texas players on the OU roster only 4 of them were offered by Mack Brown and those 4 players never see the field for OU, that should tell you a little about how Mack was just going after the 4 and 5 star players that do not ever pan out instead of going after players that fit your system . Very interesting to say the least.
