Colt McCoy makes Washington Redskin roster cut
Colt McCoy has found a new place to call home when it comes to the NFL. According to the Washington Post, the former Texas Longhorn made the NFL-mandated roster cut of 53 and will most likely be the third string quarterback, behind Robert Griffin III and Kirk Cousins.
McCoy was originally drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He stayed with them for three seasons before being traded to the San Francisco 49ers in 2013. McCoy then signed with the Washington Redskins in early April.
