I expect the Wildcats to win by 12 at least.

I'd say the Cuero-Wharton matchup has some appeal, as does Melissa-Sanger and Liberty Hill-La Grange. Looks like some great matchups for Week 1 in Division II.
Yesterdays are gone forever and tomorrows may never happen, but today you have the opportunity to make a difference.

I'm kind of surprised that Midland Greenwood is an 8 point favorite over Seminole.
I plan on opening the THSF season by going down there to Grande Communications
Stadium Thursday (Aug 28th). I think Seminole with Kent Jackson and his wishbone
offense is going to win by 7 points or more.

Yes that opening game against the Panthers in their new stadium should be a huge test for the young Leps. I'll know more about our chances after the scrimmage tonight. I am especially concerned about our O Line as we need 3 new guys to step up.

Yoakum is a hard team to read. Some games they play lights out especially against good teams and then flat against teams they should dominate. According to folks I talked to from Yoakum this team has more speed than they had in years. The Hights kid is special and according to a Yoakum coach he got lots of skill position speed around him. Bellville will be a good team to gauge them. Saturday.

The Leps had a lot of difficulty stopping the run against El Campo. Granted EC had a hoss at rb in #30 and the nascient Lep D is sure to improve over the next couple of weeks. This game will be one of the toughest for the Leps right out of the gate. Our new O line is smaller than last year but they showed some promise on pass protection. The Lep running game will probably focus more on the outside without the big OL and power running of graduated #3 Fillmore but with the 4.3 - 4.4 speed of Hutchison and Dobbins. Look for a lot of swing passes to the outside and play action stuff in the air attack. Finesse rather than power football is going to be the solution imo.

I was thinking Center was on the upswing. All agree that Waskom is very good right now. We shall see, but 5 TDs better is a pretty good whoopin.

Yes but it is subscription material. I asked permission from Jerry Forrest to post small amounts of his stuff over here.

If you don't want to subscribe (roughly $75) then I'd be happy to PM you any info you might want to know...with in reason. lol

Here is the link to the website

Also, Corpus Christi Moody is favored by 17 over Corpus Christi West Oso
