Rio Hondo Scrimmage

The Bobcats scrimmaged St. Joe Academy out of Brownsville.

Strengths-Our front seven are stout;OL andour run game looked strong. We have three QBs that are capable runners. Our two RBs are a combination of Mr. Inside and Mr. Outside.Short, quick passes were mostly completed.

Weaknesses- Secondary got burned on a couple of long TDs passes. QB and WRs haven't gotten their timing down in the vertical passing game.

We need a little more speed at the WR position,IMO...but the coaches have a package under their sleeves. They had been tinkering with different personnel the past couple of weeks.

Overall I felt there was a sense of purpose, focus, and discipline from what I saw the past couple of seasons. Players all had their helmets on, weren't horsing around on the sideline,etc.
