    Default Texas State Baseball

Just FYI- Texas State's home games are on KBVO TV out of Austin, got to watch them play Rice last night. Texas State pitching was not very good last night which you would expect some drop off on a mid week game, I will say I have never seen a D-1 centerfielder have such a weak arm playing CF. Maybe he has some arm issues but why would he be out there, Rice had a runner tag up at second on a ball hit no more then 300' just to the left of the CF which he was camped under and he barely hit his cut off to third. There has to be better out there, just one of the things I noticed.

Sitting watching the Braves and Tigers on espn

Since you mentioned lack of arm strength in the outfield positions....

The Tiger left fielder's arm strength is bad

Braves scored three in first and twice he was challenged and rolled it in.
