Longhorns are off to a 14-12 start and playing in the Judi Garman Classic in California this weekend and are 1-3 so far with one game to go this afternoon.
Pitching has been average which this was known to be after Blaire Luna graduated last year. Their hitting and fielding has also been up and down.
Can't put the blame on coach Connie Clark-She just doesn't have the super star players like last year with the exception of catcher Mandy Ogle and Taylor Thom. It's just a very young team
Longhorns play North Texas State in Denton Wednesday before opening Big 12 play next weekend against Iowa in Austin (March 15-17)

Have said it many times, Connie Clark needs to go. She has had to many years with talent and cannot get the job done, Steve Paterson here is your next coach to be fired. If you cannot win a NC with Cat on the mound for 4 years , something is wrong.
