Miller is currently committed to Bama but was recruited by Rumph who is now at Texas and apparently Rumph and Miller's dad played together back in the day and are close.
Travonte Valentine is uncommitted.
Poona Ford was committed to Louisville but decommitted after Strong Left.

yeah that came out Friday...visits to a&m, texas and tcu...........last I heard(son follows recruiting) Saturday he's Nixed the trips. Who knows...kids need to be sure imo.

Heard that it got out that he wanted to take visits then as you said Saturday he cancelled allegedly. Then rumors have picked up today that an official to Texas is schedule again but is supposed to be low key, allegedly.

yeah these kids are under a lot of pressure...and for most it's probably the first life changing decision they have to make and then they have coaches, recruiting services and fans weighing in all the time....I bet its not easy for them.

Back in HS I talked to a couple of high profile recruits at track meets and such, back when texting was legal with no regulation and phones were crappy 04-06 years. Their inbox was filled with Texas messages and calls from who knows where and area codes I've never seen before. I couldn't imagine it now with twitter, FB, txt, calls, and all other social media.

"Sources" saying after a team meeting that was held Sunday at 5pm that they expect 8-12 kids to be gone by fall camp/next spring.

There is going to be a thinning of the heard no doubt which is not unusual for any program when a new coach comes in. It happens even at small college programs. That just means more scholarships will be available for players that want to play for Coach Strong or fit the player profile he wants. I can tell you this Texas is not about to go away, and for those that think they are is just wishful thinking.
