In order for Saban to leave Alabama, Texas will have to make him "an offer he can't refuse"....

But I don't know if I can believe this at all. Apparently the money is 'substantial' which I wouldn't doubt, but I still think this is a farce.
Heard they made the purchase on the house she was looking at about a month ago.

End of regular season or after the bowl game? I think they would announce that the bowl game is Mack's last.

IMO it has to happen after the regular season. Bowl game is too late IMO especially with recruiting.

Mack ain't going nowhere. Wishful thinking. Powers came out and said it.

Funny thing, if UT beats Baylor (and it could happen due to the weather possibly), Mack could possibly end up winning Big 12 Coach of the Year.

Then fans can just leave the stadium early next year too.

First-the Horns will not beat Baylor
Second-They may not win their bowl game leaving them with 5 loses
Mack will leave but don't think Saban will replace him

UT wants to let Mack go on his own terms. He may announce his decision after the Baylor game. I think the Saban thing is a real possibility. UT and/ or boosters will pay Saban whatever it takes to get him. Money is not an issue. Saban's wife has been house shopping in Austin for a reason. It is a a very strong possibilty that Saban is the next coach.

That's probably just the "base" salary. I'm sure there will be an added 3 to 4 million a year in "perks". If that's the case, I don't think Alabama could, or would match it.

It should be noted, however, these are just rumors.
