I think Baylor is one of the best overall conditioned teams I have seen in a long time. They run the field on every play with quick tempo execution and none of them seem to even breathe hard ---including the linemen.

This game has a major bowl atmosphere and nonstop action. I switch it to one of the other 4 games going on and it's just not near as exciting to watch. The plays are one after the other in this one....a college football fan's vahalla.
Yesterdays are gone forever and tomorrows may never happen, but today you have the opportunity to make a difference.

Tech's QB Mayfield is very impressive. Can you imagine how good they will be next season? Trey Keenan of Argyle is an OL there now, and Sadler and Wilson will be joining the team next year.

Keenan is a Fresh. this year and is #77. He's 6'6" 270. Joey White from Wimberley is a Jr. and is #74. He's listed at 6'4" 320. Both are OL's.

Starting the 2nd half kickoff, Alabama kicks a short high one and the Mississipi State receiving player is hit very hard and high in an obvious helmet to helmet collision. How do the refs just totally ignore this blatant penalty in favor of Alabama. There was no question this hit was intended to hit the receiving player high. He was basically defenseless. And the announcers said nothing either, except it "looked to be a high hit". What a joke.

You know I've been thinking the last fews weeks I really haven't seen it called as much as the first two or three weekends.

Is there a player on the Baylor offense (besides #77) that isn't highly talented and very quick? They are just on a different plateau than most of the other teams in the nation. Tech is young, but ain't no slouch. They are a dangerous young club that will be very good in the next couple of years. Both of these teams look to be better than Texas and Okla. I don't know how Tech lost 3 in a row, but they do have some talent.
