Handing off like a champ! This play pretty much sums up his career. He is so bad yet good things happen such as a touchdown run.

I don't know. I just think you guys are a bit critical. 20-29 196 yds 69.0 comp pct 2 ints 111.9 QB rating. A terrible day you say and your team also wins by 21+. If you asked, how many coaches would not take that?

I'm going to take a lot of heat for saying this on here, but I was at every home game the year that Gilbert got pulled in favor of McCoy and Ash. Since the BYU game that Gilbert was pulled in (I was at that game), I have truly felt that McCoy is better than Ash. The media harps on every mistake he makes, yet they never mention the terrible plays that he makes good things happen on. I do believe that Ash has more athletic talent, but McCoy has a lot better head on his shoulders and can make good things happen out of bad things. Case is not going to set the world on fire, but Ash is terrible in my books. And yes, I was also at the UT-Baylor game in Waco that year when Case threw several INTs.
I did not catch the game yesterday as I do not get LHN, but 2 interceptions aren't going to change my opinion of him, and when you say there were a lot of over and under throws, as long as he still had a 69% completion rate yesterday I'll take it.
Last year Ash couldn't do anything against OU, yet McCoy came in at the end and threw a couple of TDs.
Ash also couldn't do anything against TCU last year, McCoy came in and scored and made it close. UT even had a chance to win at the end, and yes Case threw an INT, but had Case not come in in the first place it wouldn't have gotten close enough that Texas had a chance.
Don't forget Case had to come in to bail out Ash against Kansas last year as well.
Oh, I think Case also beat OU pretty handily this year. And lets not forget the game winning drive he put together at Kyle Field against the Aggies a couple of seasons ago.
I did watch the game. I'll admit nothing is pretty about what he does and there were times the s**t word came out of my mouth but he did not really do anything to lose the game. It was very nice to see the running game take up the slack in a big way. Hopefully it will continue which will keep the pressure and thoughts of 'having to do it all' from his mind. If he stays within his limitations they'll be just fine. JMO.
Lol, this thread is awesome
