If you are ever heading south on hwy 36 in Sealy, Hinze's BBQ, the brisket and ribs are to die for. At I-10 and hwy 36 on the left if heading south.. Also Bellville Meat Mkt at 159 and 36, the bbq potato will MAKE you take a darn good...

I need to know the best barbecue Llano. I've eaten at Cooper's many times. Hear the locals like some other place.

Yeah. I had Cooper's in Llano earlier this year. It was okay, but it is one of those places I would have to think twice about going back to.

I like the Hinze's in Sealy better than the one in Wharton Off Hwy 59
Mustang Creek in Louise Off Hwy 59 is pretty good but they only have buffet
Tastewoods in Wharton off 59 and 102 is good
Austin's in Eagle Lake is good and was in Top 50 in Texas Monthly earlier in the yearr
Preuss Mark in La Grange in one of my favorite.
I've never eaten at Mikeska's in Columbus off I 10=Only the one in El Campo
Still like Luling City Market as my favorite

Nice stuff brother! I'll have to join in on this sometime. I love BBQ. I've never eaten at any of these places. I remember you mentioned the place in Cresson. We're eating there Saturday for sure then. Its right on our way to Arlington for soccer. If its #4 on your list of those others mentioned, it must be good. Crazy in that I had no idea this place had great BBQ after stopping there several times for bathroom pit stops. Crazy, just crazy

What about Louie Mueller's in Taylor? I was impressed. Great atmosphere too.

If you are ever in Bay City try Glenn's BBQ

    Louella's in Sweeny is good

Over in Angleton stop at the Citgo??(I think) it is Big Daddy Ray's BBQ inside the gas station.

Country tavern on 31 between Kilgore and Tyler has the best ribs hands down. We travel and tried them all and the Tavern has the best ribs no doubt about it. As far as the other stuff the list is a good one.
