This looks a lot more accurate than the AP Poll....

Overall, not too bad. I would have to say that Jasper & Alvarado, as this point, are probably a bit too high.

    Alvarado next 3 games:
    Vs. FW Southwest
    @ China Spring
    Vs. Waco Connally

Jasper has West Orange-Stark coming up here in a couple of weeks, so we will know more after that.

Celina is much to high on that list. The bobcats will get better as the season progresses, but they are not a top 20 team just from talking with others right now. I think Tyler Chapel Hill would be Celina just as La Marque would too.

I have seen #1, #2, and #5 on that list play this year. Right now, I'd put Gilmer at #1. Lots of football left, though.

They seem to have a very good team. Much better than the polls are showing in my opinion as well.

Yes, they are high on my list of "most disliked opponents". Listening/reading how good they are and then they play down to Mexia's level. Must really be a drop off from last year.

our Defense is better than last year's..but our offense is taking some time to get up to the level we want,,and that was expected with the new players in all the skilled positions...i think the coaches called the same 6 offensive plays all game long and trusted the defense to carry the load..and they did..and to the chagrin of us fans in the stands..the coach was more interested in working on basics offensively than trying to blowout mexia..a drop off after 2 games in..perhaps..it was the same in 2010 with new guys in the offense and we ended up in the semis...so who knows

Palestine will just have to keep winning football games. They get Kaufman this week, then Chapel Hill. If they find a way to win both of those games, no reason they should not creep up in the polls.

19 is a bit generous. Committing too many turnovers on offense and too one dimensional. Defense will have to carry Indians until we get more experience. This team gets better as the season progresses. CS will definitely have a chance to even the score this year. Gonna be a fun game to watch.
