Sad News-Country Singer George Jones dies

I was able to hear him at the Fort Bend County Fair in Rosenberg about 10 years ago and at Gilley's in Pasadena in 1983
He was from Saratoga in East Texas
I still in my heart believe he was the best country singer ever and bigger than George Strait

I have a friend that ran into him at the Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. Said it was early and he was sitting by himself playing Blackjack. He and his sister walked up and introduced themselfs as fans from Texas. They said he visited with them posed for a picture with them and then sang a verse of White Lightning. This was about three years ago and he looked great in the picture.
