Canyon Lake will have a new head football coach/athletic director as Coach Matt Monzingo becomes Comal County District athletic director. Coach Monzingo will be greatly missed he has done a fantastic job at Canyon Lake. Hopefully we will have an announcement who takes his place by the end of school.
Congratulations to Coach Monzingo he will be greatly missed. Canyon Lake wishes him the best in his new position.

Congrats to Coach Monzingo and the new opportunity. Laid the foundation for the future of Canyon Lake football. Whoever comes in will have some big shoes to fill. Best of luck to CL in their search.
