Newton vs. Lincoln

This was a great game doninated by Newton's
defence,they held Lincoln to 8 points till the last quater.Newton's offence looked better this week but were hampered by penalty's.Will Gulley made a good run for a touchdown but was called back by penalty.
Greer connected with Gully several times for some good yardage while Joe David had a good night running the ball.Lincoln scored again
with 1:40 left in the last quater leaving the score 14\13.We have another tough school (Crocket)next week.

Crockett is 3A, but they are tough. Lincoln had an awesome offense, but Newton has an AWESOME defense. Anyone who holds that offense to such a low scoring game will have a good season. Lincoln also will have a good one. They have lots of talent also.
