Default Tech Geeks? Wireless Router !

What good wireless router do you recommend? I have 6 wifi devises going through the one I have plus a desk top that is hard wired through it when all are connected the speed slows way down. I have searched the web but would rather have opinion from someone with firsthand experience with one.

Doesn't get much easier than the Cisco Valet. I've had one a couple of years now after getting tired of Netgear. It works pretty well, accommodating our desktop, two laptops, an iPad and iPhone, and a blu-ray player.

I recently purchased a Actiontech Wireless Modem/Router. I purchased it because it had relatively good reviews and I would not need a router and a modem both hooked up. I am not sure if you were looking to replace your modem or not, but this product works really well for the short time(few weeks) that I have had it. The speeds seem good and I have not been disconnected. Some of the reviews say something about connections but I think it had to do with their actual lines. The wireless has a good range as I had full bars on the other side of the house. Overall, great product for the price. I would recommend it if you have DSL.

    You can get a repeater.

We had the same problem, longer then normal house, but we have drops in every room. So we just put another access point in a bedroom on other side of the house.
