    Maybe the most shocking ending ever in a title game........then Everman went on to win the state title in the 2nd game...it was bittersweet with Fulbright getting paralyzed though

    LH Head Coach at the time Mike Zoffuto who ran the bone back the was one of the announcers...sad story with his battle with Alzhimers..it happen VERY VERY quick

    any old timers remember these two HP/Plano games?

    saw them both.....amazing stuff....if my memory is correct I remember Plano attempting that flea-flicker play earlier in the game and miss a wide open rec.

    Pilot Point/Godley 2009 - Regional Championship - Godley goes up 20-6 in the 3rd qtr, PP kicks a FG then scores to make it 20-15 going into the 4th. In the 4th PP scores to go on top 21-20 with 5:30 left in the game. Godley marches down to the 2, kicks a FG with 2:10 left on the clock. PP gets the ball back and drives down the field, kicks a field goal to win 24-23 and advance to the State Semi's. HOWEVER Godley wasn't a loser for long, as they may not have won the game, but their broadcast crew won 1310AM The Ticket's BaD Radio Homer Call of the Year for 2009.
