    Default Borger Vs Monahans

After 5 games for both teams:

Borger has Rushed for 1131 Yards and Passing 35-64-5-402. Allowing 464 Rushing Yards and 971 Passing yards.

Monahans has Rushed for 1339 Yards and Passing 21-61-2-280. Allowing 548 Rushing Yards and 306 Passing yards.

Unless either of these two teams get their passing game going, it is going to be a full out rush assault all night.

Borger’s defensive weakness looks to be against the pass with a big loss to Caprock that had 509 passing yards off 26 completions.
Monahans QB as of late is improving in this area but still has some trouble hitting his targets.

This is going to be a close game!

Does Borger still have those 400 lb linemen?

I know they lost a lot from last year but they always have some big corn feed farm boys.

Sounds like the makings of a close scoring slug fest! Probably decided by a touchdown or less. Think I will stick with my pre-season gut feeling and take Monahans!

I think If Monahans would go to the Spread and ditch the Wing T they would be much better

I heard at the Whataburger in Early that you might be running the show in Monahans next year!

I will add that Monahans has a good field goal kicker to go to on 4th down within the 30-35. His long a 46 Yd. shot right down the middle with plenty more hang to go further.
He is 6 for 6 with kicks of 46,27.26,31,37 & 23 Yds. He could be the game winner like in Week 0 against Snyder.
