    Default Bastrop Rollacoaster

Good friend of ours from Bastrop was informed by DPS officers that their home had burned up. Later they are informed it was a mistake and their home was the only one on the block to survive. Of course that is a blessing for them, but man what an up and down emotional trip to go thru.

With all this "FIRE" in the last sereral months, it makes you wonder if we are being told something!!!!

I hope those folks are going to be okay. I know locally we have some relief efforts going that direction. My niece goes to high school in Leander (Rouse) and they were actually closed on Tuesday because the school was being used for evacuees.

Having lost a home in a fire, I know how mentally devastating it can be. The smell is something you never forget.
