    The drought is over.

    Go Sinton Pirates and Lady Pirates! I also like old movies like "Dawn at Socorro." I also like the Tour de France. I like the Pelican West Band located at South Padre Island, Texas.     Not a drop here. And we're not too many weeks from turning on the tap and seeing nothing come out unless that changes really soon.

    I assumed he meant the high school football "drought" since the season has begun.

    The town dug one well which might help a bit (would come nowhere close to produce enough for the town). As far as I know we're still waiting for test results on the water to confirm it's suitable for using. We're still desperate.

    Thunderstorm rolled thru Ingleside last night about midnight. My rain gauge had 3/4" in it. I think I could hear the grass and my wife's 75 potted plants sighing with relief. This doesn't end the drought but it sure does help.
