I agree, we sure don't need any more rain down here.

Last weathercast I saw the people of Corpus Chirsti were boarded up the windows and the raids had started at the stores. Somebody thinks it is coming your way. I hope not guys.

    You are right...
it's now a tropical storm. I hope it continues to weaken. When you become a property owner, you hope all these things go away.

Unfortunately, they usually rebuild as soon as they hit deep water again. As for the direction, don't buy it. I've seen 'em back up and restart before.

The only reason you see people in Corpus boardin up is they probably listen to Dale Nelson. No matter what direction a hurricane is headin when it's inthe Gulf,he always says it's gonna hit Corpus!!I swear this guy gets so excited he probably pees his pants hopin for one to hit Corpus!!!

Most of you guys are too young to remember it, but I went through Celia in 70 I think it was. That was the third and worst I had ever been through. Only thing that saved the whole area is that one came in fairly dry. Most of them rain for a week before they hit.
Celia had sustained winds of 175mph, and the gusts broke the 200mph wind meter at the airport. They called it a category 4. If that was a 4, I don't want to see a 5!

I was there in that one.Remember me and my brother standin on the front porch and this beach ball goes flyin by.Right behind that was the loudest roar we had ever heard.Every tree on the block just layed over. The next mornin that beach ball was layin our front yard. And instead of the trees layin toward the west they were all layin toward the east. One scary storm!!

I rode that one out in our old house with my dad, and remember seeing a double window bow in at us sitting on the couch. Jumped up and grabbed the door off the bathroom and nailed it in at a 45 to support the wall. My folks moved out shortly after and started their new home.
