I am deeply saddened by your loss. I did not know your father personally, but from his post he seemed like a GREAT man. Both of my parents are still living so I do not know how you and your family feel but know that God watches over all and will give you the strength you and your family need. I only wish I could have met your dad. The world is a poorer place without LE Dad. I hope your sister recovers. Prayer's and the deepest sympathy from Sweeny.

i didn't know how to suggest it, bison, but you said what i was thinking well....it's certainly up to his son, but i'd hope he'd keep his dad's posts going here, telling us how liberty eylau is doing as well as his family and friends.....i sure understand if it's too tough but i know i, for one, would consider his son as welcome as the flowers in may......Originally posted by OldBison75
A great man and a great football fan has been lost to us on the Downlow. LE DAD was passionate about his family, his team, and high school sports in general. I never read a single post that he was critical of a kid, or even a coach. He supported his team with a clear and relistic approach and treated each person he bantered with respect and dignity. This board has lost one of the really GOOD GUYS.
The thoughts and prayers of my family and the Navasota Rattler nation are with you and your family. We pray that the entire LE community will find peace in the memory of such a great supporter and that healing will come with the wonderful memories he has left with you.
To you, his son, know he was very proud of you and it is obvious you were and are very proud of him. I would welcome you to become a regular poster on this board and keep us informed of the LE sports happenings and the progress of you and your family in the future. Always know that you have great friends on this board.
My thoughts and prayers go out to LE Dad's family and friends at this time of need.
Just saw this. My deepest condolences.
We don't freestyle 'Texas Fight', big boy.
I just saw this. I am shocked and saddened to read this.
I never had the honor of meeting LE Dad in person, but I could tell by his posts that he was great man.
May God wrap his loving arms around his family and give them solace during this time of grief.
Words cannot describe how heavy my heart is right now!!
RIP LE Dad....you will be missed more than you could ever imagine.
Your dad will live on through you and your sister. God bless you.
Very sad news indeed. Prayers to you and your family from Gobbler Country.
