I think the only stat I might try to follow in the Kennedale/Van game is quarterback overthrows and intentional "out of bounds" throws. That usually indicates defensive pressure.
I would only do this on a good quarterback which Van has, and MH and Argyle etc.
I really don't know if Kennedale's quarterback reads defenses and makes adjustments on the line...probably not.
WOW!!!! The semi-finals will be awesome if predictions come true: Carthage / La Vega and Kennedale / Argyle.
I say to the Wildcats : "Keep your sights set on the Prize and give your best".

Midlothian Heritage is plenty physical this year, and most likely the only team in region 2 capable of matching Kennedale in that area. But, what do I know..I’ve seen both teams on scout videos, and in person this season.

Crazy game now......24-21 Kennedale. Van scores a TD after Kennedale scores to start the 2nd half. Then Van gets the onside kick. They immediately score on a reverse halfback pass for a TD to bring in to within 3 points. Now they do another onsides kick and get it, but are called for offsides. Van will rekick now.

Regular kickoff now goes for a touchback. Kennedale starts on their own 25.

Van moves it to their own 40 on 3rd and long on a good completion. Mosely having trouble finding time to set his feet and throw.

Knowles takes it all the way down to the Van 21 on that big run.
