*( ) PLC beat Alice but PLC had to forfeit the game.
Poor TM they drop and bring everybody with them lol
How good is Miller expected to be next year?
This district could have 4 maybe 5 top 25 teams when the season starts?
according to a Miller fan in the other forum he had mention they return good portion of their starters. this group was mostly soph and some fr few years ago when they got rolling. So they have some years in varsity now.
They did lose one very fast kid and one of the big wr on offense. Will be some great games in that district!
This is one of the post and apparently also got in a transfer from Flour Bluff on the line recently:
Miller has a lot of kids returning. 7 guys are back on Offense. Only have to replace 4. 6 back on Defense. Miller is going to be good again next year.
Calallen loses a QB, RB, Dline. Usual reload, but it may be a slow start.
Week 2: Sept. 4
Corpus Christi Calallen at Jourdanton
old Flour Bluff coach at Jourdanton.
Calallen was looking for a week 4 opponent
Rockport has not seen much growth from the industriul growth yet. Houses are not exactly cheap over here right now. And there is ZERO low incoming housing for labor workers. Two bedreoom houses are renting for 1400 mo. If we see any growth it will be from higher up positions when these new plants get established. However since Rockport is at the very top of D2 right now, i agree a jump up to D1 is likely. Before the hurricane we were at the very top of D1. I don't think we will see those numbers again this decade.
Sinton, Inglesdie, and AP could all see numbers go up.
Sinton might see some new families start moving in once new housing division is complete. Steel Dynamic should start getting off the ground sometime march and suppose to be completed by summer of 2021.
Well see if other companies come in also. Refugio might get some folks they'll be next closes to plant besides Sinton and Taft. Might just push Sinton up to 4a D1
CC Miller made some changes due to 6a/5a starting later.
